Decades of passion for Dakar

Our History

For over 20 years, we’ve been drawing on worldwide experience to craft the finest trucks.

Our journey to the victory

In 2002, Martin Macík sr. crossed paths with Jiří Žák while in search of a truck to compete in the Dakar Rally. Despite finding no luck at the Tatra factory, Jiří connected Martin with Ladislav Fajtl, who had prior Dakar experience and offered assistance. Quickly, they acquired a truck in July 2002 and by 2003, they embarked on their inaugural race together. The vehicle, a LIAZ that had participated in the Dakar 1991 and a few other races, had sat unused for years. Martin purchased and refurbished it within months, incorporating parts from other rally trucks. Thus, their journey began.

More than 17 years of development followed, during which they perfected the production of rally trucks to such an extent that they began manufacturing for clients as well. In 2020 MM Technology was founded, where, thanks to more than 20 years of experience, we create trucks for ourselves and clients across Europe and the World, which are becoming increasingly successful in world competitions. In 2024, we cemented this with our greatest success.

Martin Macík Jr. achieved a significant milestone and won the Dakar Rally. Driving the truck named Cenda, meticulously developed over the years, we encountered no technical issues throughout the race. This victory marked the culmination of years of development, leading to perfection.
